About
I'm a software developer, user interface designer and builder, web entrepreneur (in the making), and someone who has lots of interests and hobbies as you can probably tell from my website.
I live with my family in Johns Creek, GA. My wife Angi is a director of IT here in Johns Creek. She's formerly a software developer so it's nice that we can talk about all things IT (yeah, we're geeks). My step son (geek in training) goes to Southern Polytech in Marietta, Georgia. My daughter is in high school. She's just a normal non-technical geek for now ;).
We like to take our camper and go camping all over Georgia, see all the beautiful scenery. Sometimes the 2 dogs get to go too. There are so many places to explore, it's awesome! I like to mountain bike, do some mountain bike racing, and take rides with the family. I play paintball with my son, step son, daughter and friends. I mess with all things R/C and dabble in electronics (Arduino's are cool!).
I like computers. I always have my own programming projects underway in addition to the professional work that I do. I've always been fascinated with how computers work and jumped right in at a young age programming in BASIC and Assembly Language (a step above programming in binary 0's and 1's) on my trusty old Commodore 64 (oops, just dated myself). I was amazed at how a joystick could cause those game characters to move around on the screen. It was like magic and I had to understand it! So now I do... well mostly, it's always changing. Oh, and I do some real magician type of magic too, at least I used to, for the same reason... I had to know how it worked.
So that's all about me in a nutshell... I could probably go on and on, but I'd probably have to upgrade to a coconut shell.
